When did you begin working at Damian & Valori, LLP | Culmo Trial Attorneys? How did you get your job here? I started working with Tom Culmo in September 2007. I was recruited by one of his staff at the time who is also a close friend. We both came over to DVLLP with Tom in Feb 2020.
In a nutshell, what do you do your in role (one sentence or less)? Everything – manage calendar, deadlines, discovery, et al.
What projects or cases you are working on? All of Tom’s cases which are mostly PI and med mal cases.
Why did you choose this profession? Introduced to the profession by a friend (same one that introduced me to Tom) for work while I went to Miami-Dade College at age 18, then switched to Legal Assisting AS degree at Miami-Dade College met most of my best friends in this profession and I stuck with it.
What do you like most about your job? The people we meet and help. With the cases we handle, we usually meet clients at the most difficult time of their lives. They’re good people that need help and the gratitude they feel/share at the end is rewarding, especially when you still get sweet messages from them years later.
