Peter F. Valori, as Co-Chair of the Business Torts Subcommittee of the Business and Corporate Litigation Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, will co-host a non-CLE presentation entitled “Attorney Fee Awards and Sanctions from the Judges Perspective”, which will be an interactive meeting and discussion that will be held at the annual meeting of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association in Chicago, IL on September 17, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.
The meeting will involve business lawyers and nine business and complex litigation judges who will discuss judicial perspectives on best practices in prevailing party attorney fee applications; imposing monetary or evidentiary sanctions; and cost shifting on offers of judgment. The event will be hosted by the Judges Initiative Committee, Subcommittee on Business Courts.
