Melanie E. Damian has been named Chair of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar. Ms. Damian was officially installed on June 22, 2017, and will serve a one-year term. Ms. Damian looks forward to leading the Section’s efforts to revise Florida’s corporate statutes (Ch. 607, F.S.) and Florida’s Fraudulent Transfer Act (Ch. 726, F.S.), as well as other legislative initiatives involving technology, business entities, and business litigation.
